1. Record all diagnostic codes and save the electronic control module (ECM) configuration data. Refer to
WP 0008.
2. Loosen two bolts (Figure 1, Item 2) and disconnect two connectors (Figure 1, Item 3) from ECM (Figure 1,
Item 1).
3. Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 8), ground strap (Figure 1, Item 6), plate (Figure 1, Item 9), and washers
(Figure 1, Item 7) from ECM (Figure 1, Item 1).
4. Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 5) and washers (Figure 1, Item 4) from ECM (Figure 1, Item 1). Remove
ECM from machine.
