INSTALLATION CONTINUED
5. Install flywheel housing (Figure 9, Item 1) on engine.
6. Install two 12-point bolts (Figure 9, Item 8) and spacers (Figure 9, Item 9) on flywheel housing (Figure 9,
Item 1). Hand tighten only.
7. Install four washers (Figure 9, Item 7) and bolts (Figure 9, Item 6) on flywheel housing (Figure 9, Item 1). Hand
tighten only.
8. Hand tighten two bolts (Figure 9, Item 4) on flywheel housing (Figure 9, Item 1).
9. Install washer (Figure 9, Item 3) and bolt (Figure 9, Item 2) on flywheel housing (Figure 9, Item 1). Hand tighten
only.
10. Tighten two 12-point bolts (Figure 9, Item 8) on flywheel housing (Figure 9, Item 1). Torque to 85 13 lb-ft
(9.6 2 Nm).
11. Tighten four bolts (Figure 9, Item 6) on flywheel housing (Figure 9, Item 1). Torque to 46 7 lb-ft
(63 10 Nm)
12. Tighten two bolts (Figure 9, Item 4) on flywheel housing (Figure 9, Item 1). Torque to 58 lb-ft (78 Nm).
13. Tighten bolt (Figure 9, Item 2) on flywheel housing (Figure 9, Item 1). Torque to 175 30 lb-ft (237 40 Nm).
14. Check alignment of flywheel housing (WP 0032).
15. Check concentricity of flywheel housing (WP 0032).
