Components with metal parts can cause severe burns at operating temperature. Allow
components to cool before performing maintenance on them. Wear insulated gloves, long
sleeves, and eye protection when working with heated parts.
N OT E
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids ae contained during performance of inspection,
r
maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of machine. Be prepared to collect fluid with
suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component
containing fluids. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Pressure gauges must be visible from cab.
Operator must be present and seatedin the cab during this entire test.
1. Remove 10 bolts (Figure 74, Item 1) and washers (Figure 74, Item 2) from front cover (Figure 74, Item 3).
2. Remove front cover (Figure 74, Item 3) from machine.
