Test Step 2. Test for Open Rear
Chassis Wiring Harness to Trans/
Chassis ECM.
1. Connect jumper wire between cab
lower wiring harness connector P-
C84 (WP 0009, Figure 161) termi-
nal 1 and terminal 2.
2. Disconnect the rear chassis wir-
ing harness connector FA-C21
(WP 0009, Figure 124) from
transmission ECM J-2 (WP 0009,
Figure 112).
3. Disconnect the rear chassis wir-
ing harness connector FA-C20
(WP 0009, Figure 113) from trans-
mission ECM J-1 (WP 0009, Fig-
ure 112).
4. Using digital multimeter, measure
Resistance Less Than 5.0 Ohms -
Proceed to Test Step 4.

Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Greater -
(WP 0009, Figure 124) terminal
Proceed to Test Step 3.
