Code 2297-03 Becomes Inactive
and 2297-05 Becomes Active -
Replace pump drive solenoid har-
ness (WP 0201).
Proceed to step 6.
6. Using the MSD (WP 0006), select
2297-03 Code Active - Repeat trou-
All Wheel Drive 120M and verify
bleshooting code from the beginning.
2297-03 is not active.
2297-03 Code Not Active - Trouble-
shooting complete.
Test Step 2. Test for Shorted Filter
Bypass, Pump Drive Solenoid Har-
ness.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
2. Remove front engine enclosure
access panel (WP 0226).
3. Disconnect filter bypass, pump
drive solenoid AC-C5 harness
connector (WP 0009, Figure 78)
from rear chassis wiring FA-C37
harness connector (WP 0009,
Figure 79) (WP 0199).
4. Turn battery disconnect switch
and ignition switch to the ON posi-
tion.
