Each module will have a batery input, ignition switch input, and a
t
ground circuit.
The connections for the switched ignition+ are routed through the
ignition switch. The ignition switch supplies ignition+ voltage to the
following components:
-
Instrument Panel
-
Implement #1 and #2 ECMs
-
Messenger
-
24 Volt Converter
-
AWD ECM
-
XMSN/Chassis ECM

Magnetic Switch (Main Relay)
Cycling the ignition switch rapidly or an intermittent connection may
cause this diagnostic code to set. Verify all connections are clean and
tight before replacing any components.

Always inspect the harness connectorsthat are involved in the circuit.
Poor connections can often be the cause of a problem in an electrical
circuit. Verify that all connections in the circuit are clean and secure,
and that all connections are in good condition. If a problem with a
connection is found, correct the problem and verify that this diagnostic
code is active before performing this procedure.
Perform open or short circuit test ateach harness connection to identify
correct harness to replace.
Perform this test only if condition is active.
Test Step 1. Test Fuse Box Output.
1. Turn the ignition switch and bat-
