Lubricate and install one of two
bearing halves (41, Figure 6-55)
on upper half of journal.
18.
Position items 59 thru 55 as an
assembly on upper half of one of
two bearing halves (41) and
journal.
19.
Position one of two bearing
halves (41) and cap (40) on lower
half of journal.
20.
Install four lockwashers (39) and
bolts (38). Tighten four bolts
(38) evenly. Bend four
lockwashers (39) up against hex
heads of four bolts (38).
21.
Position new gasket (37) and
cover (36) on bottom of crankcase
(60).
22.
Install six lockwashers (35) and
bolts (34).
23.
Install two plugs (33) in block
(53).
