1. Remove AWD gear oil fill plug (Figure 3, Item 1) and washer (Figure 3, Item 2).
C AU T I O N
Inspect magnetic drain plug for metal shavings. Failure to follow this caution may result in
damage to equipment.
2. Add AWD gear oil (TM 5-3805-293-10) through AWD gear oil fill plug opening (Figure 3, Item 3) until AWD gear
oil level is even with AWD gear oil fill plug opening.
3. Install AWD gear oil fill plug (Figure 3, Item 1) and washer (Figure 3, Item 2).
