REMOVAL CONTINUED
2. Remove yoke (Figure 2, Item 1) from output shaft (Figure 2, Item 2).
3. Remove two bolts (Figure 2, Item 6) and washers (Figure 2, Item 7), and install guide pins.
4. Remove 10 bolts (Figure 2, Item 3) and washers (Figure 2, Item 4) from spring plate (Figure 2, Item 5).

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to
personnel.
N OT E
Spring plate weighs 40 lb (18 kg).
Mark spring plate prior to removal to aid in installation.
5. Remove spring plate (Figure 2, Item 5) from transmission.
