If magnetic filter is cracked or damaged, install new filter.
1. Install magnetic filter (Figure 1, Item 1) and suction screen (Figure 1, Item 2) on transmission (Figure 1,
Item 6).
2. Install new O-ring (Figure 1, Item 3), cover (Figure 1, Item 4), and three bolts (Figure 1, Item 5) on transmission
(Figure 1, Item 6).

FOLLOW-ON TASKS
1. Check transmission fluid level (WP 0047). Fill as required.
N OT E
With engine at low idle, maintain oil level between marks on oil level gauge.
2. Start engine and run at low idle (TM-5-3805-293-10).
3. Check transmission for leaks.
