Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure that any lifting equipment used is in good condition
and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported by lifting equipment.
Failure to follow this warning may result in death or injury to personnel.
N OT E
Weight of front wheel and tire assembly is 475 lb (215 kg).
1. Install truck wheel lift on wheel and tire assembly (Figure 9, Item 3).
2. Using truck wheel lift, align oil drain (Figure 9, Item 5) with oil drain access hole and install front wheel and tire
assembly (Figure 9, Item 3) onto spindle hub (Figure 9, Item 4).
3. Install eight washers (Figure 9, Item 2) and bolts (Figure 9, Item 1) on wheel and tire assembly (Figure 9,
Item 3). Torque bolts to 664 lb-ft (900 Nm).
4. Remove truck wheel lift from wheel and tire assembly (Figure 9, Item 3).
