Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to
follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Cover and tandem housing weighs 1,580 lb (717 kg).
4. Using lifting device, remove cover and tandem housing from machine and lower onto a flat surface.
5. Remove lifting brackets and lifting device from cover and tandem housing.
6. Remove O-ring (Figure 4, Item 1) from final drive (Figure 4, Item 2). Discard O-ring.
N OT E
Note number of shims prior to removal to aid in installation.
Mark sprockets to aid inalignment at installation.
