Note routing of hose to aid in installation.
1. Disconnect engine oil drain hose (Figure 1, Item 7) from engine oil drain valve (Figure 1, Item 6).
2. Remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 10), two washers (Figure 1, Item 9), nut (Figure 1, Item 11), and clamp (Figure 1,
Item 8) from engine oil drain hose (Figure 1, Item 7).
C AU T I O N
Wipe area clean around the engine oil drain line where it connects to the oil pan.
Contamination of engine lubricating oil could result in premature failure. Failure to follow
this caution may cause damage to equipment.
3. Disconnect engine oil drain hose (Figure 1, Item 7) from elbow (Figure 1, Item 13).
4. Remove engine oil drain hose (Figure 1, Item 7) and two O-rings (Figure 1, Item 12) from machine. Discard
O-rings.
5. Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 5), washers (Figure 1, Item 4), and engine oil drain valve plate (Figure 1,
Item 3) from transmission (Figure 1, Item 2).
6. Remove elbow (Figure 1, Item 13) and O-ring (Figure 1, Item 14) from engine (Figure 1, Item 1). Discard
O-ring.
