REMOVAL CONTINUED
2. Attach lifting device to engine lifting bracket.
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
The engine weighs approximately 2,000 lb (907 kg).
The procedure for engine mount removal and replacement is identical for left-hand and
right-hand sides. Right-hand engine mount is shown in this procedure.
3. Using lifting device, raise engine approximately 2 inches (50 mm).
4. Remove bolt (Figure 2, Item 1), washers (Figure 2, Items 2 and 4), and upper pad (Figure 2, Item 3) from
engine support bracket (Figure 2, Item 5).
