If the 120M Motor Grader is parked indoors during the
performance of the PMCS, DO NOT run the engine
unless exhaust fumes are vented to the outside. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to per-
sonnel due to carbon monoxide poisoning.
N OT E
Review all WARNINGs, CAUTIONs, and NOTEs before
performing PMCS and operating the machine.
Perform Operator PMCS prior to or in conjunction with
Field Maintenance PMCS if:
- There is a delay between daily operation of
the 120M Motor Grader and Field
Maintenance PMCS.
- You are operating the machine for the first
time.
Unless otherwise indicated, perform PMCS with
machine parked on level ground, parking brake applied,
transmission in N (Neutral), blade lowered to the ground,
wheels blocked, and engine shut down.
If leakage is detected during performance of PMCS,
further investigation is required to determine location
and cause of leak.
Walk around machine and look for any obvious leaks or
damage.
