REFRIGERANT RECOVERY MACHINE DISCONNECT

Contact with refrigerant can cause frostbite. Keep hands and face away to prevent
personal injury.
Protective face shield and gloves must always be worn when refrigerant lines are opened,
even if the gauges indicate system is empty.
Always use caution when disconnecting fititngs. Slowly loosen the fitting in a well-
ventilated area.
Do not smoke when servicing A/C or wherever refrigerant gas may be present.
Failure to follow these warnings may cause injury or death to personnel.
1. Close low-side valve and high-side valve on refrigerant recovery machine.
2. Remove refrigerant recovery machine low-side hose from suction (low side) port (Figure 2, Item 2).
3. Remove refrigerant recovery machine high-side hose from discharge (high side) port (Figure 2, Item 1).
