Test Step 2. Test for Open Cab
Lower Wiring Harness to 8 Volt
Power Supply.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
2. Connect jumper wire between P-
C51 terminal 1 and terminal 8
(WP 0009, Figure 118).
3. Disconnect the cab lower wiring
harness connector P-C41 (WP
0009, Figure 68) from implement
ECM J-1 (WP 0009, Figure 69)
(WP 0268).
4. Using digital multimeter, measure
Resistance Less Than 5.0 Ohms -
resistance between P-C41 (WP
Replace implement 1 ECM (WP
0268).
0009, Figure 68) terminal 44 and
terminal 45 (WP 0009, Figure 18).
Remove jumper wire between P-C51
Resistance should be less than 5.0
terminal 1 and terminal 8 (WP 0009,
ohms.
Figure 118).
Connect the cab lower wiring harness
connector P-C51 (WP 0009, Figure
118) to LH joystick connector J-1 (WP
0009, Figure 119) (WP 0282).
Proceed to step 5.
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Greater -
Replace cab lower wiring harness
(WP 0266).
Proceed to step 5.
5. Using the MSD (WP 0006), select
1472-03 Code Active - Repeat trou-
Trans/chassis 120M and verify
bleshooting code from the beginning.
1472-03 is not active.
1472-03 Code Not Active - Trouble-
shooting complete.
Test Step 3. Test for Shorted Rear
Chassis Wiring Harness.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
