Remove nose front frame cover
from machine (WP 0224).
4. Disconnect clutch drive solenoid
AF-C9 harness connector (WP
0009, Figure 86) from right AWD
clutch reverse solenoid (WP
0009, Figure 87).
5. Connect jumper wire between AF-
C9 terminal 1 and AF-C9 terminal
2 (WP 0009, Figure 86).
6. Turn battery disconnect switch
and ignition switch to the ON posi-
tion.
7. Check for Active code 2191-05 or
Code 2191-05 Remains Active - Pro-
2191-06 in All Wheel Drive 120M
ceed to Test Step 2.
ECM (WP 0006).
Code 2191-05 Becomes Inactive
and 2191-06 Becomes Active -
Remove jumper wire from AF-C9 ter-
minal 1 and terminal 2 (WP 0009, Fig-
ure 86).
Replace right AWD clutch reverse
solenoid (WP 0248).
Proceed to step 8.
8. Using the MSD (WP 0006), select
2191-05 Code Active - Repeat trou-
All Wheel Drive 120M and verify
bleshooting code from the beginning.
2191-05 is not active.
2191-05 Code Not Active - Trouble-
shooting complete.
Test Step 2. Test for Open Clutch
Drive Solenoid Harness.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
2. Remove jumper wire from AF-C9
terminal 1 and terminal 2 (WP
0009, Figure 86).
3. Remove rear front frame cover
from machine (WP 0224).
