1. Turn ignition switch to the OFF
position.
2. Disconnect EA-C13 (WP 0009,
Figure 8) harness connector from
EH-C1 (WP 0009, Figure 9) at the
valve cover base.
3. Turn ignition switch to the ON
position.
N OT E
Wait at least 30 seconds in order fordiagnostic codes to become active.
Other fuel injector diagnostic codes may also set; ignore those codes
during this procedure.
4. Start engine or attempt to start
engine.
5. At the MSD check that diagnostic
0005-05 Becomes Active - ECM and
code 0005-05 is active.

6. Turn OFF the ignition and battery

1. Turn OFF the ignition and battery
disconnect switch.
2. Remove valve cover and forward
fuel injector harness (WP 0103)
from fuel injector #5.
