Dis-connect transfer pump inlet fuel line (4) fromfuel transfer pump (3).3.Remove the bolts and remove fuel transferpump (3).INSTALL FUEL TRANSFER PUMP1.2.3.4.Be sure the O-ring seal is in position on the fueltransfer pump and put clean oil on the O-ringseal.Put fuel transfer pump ( 1) in position on thefuel injection pump and install the bolts.Install transfer pump outlet fuel line (2) andconnect transfer pump inlet fuel line (3) to thefuel transfer pump.Put clean diesel fuel on the filter gasket andinstall by hand. Tighten ½ turn after gasketmakes contact with the base.1-161
