Supplemental Steering Switch
Differential Lock Switch
Move and hold the switch to MANUAL •
The indicator will come on to indicate
the system is functional. Leave the
switch in the MANUAL position only long
enough to test the supplemental steering. Release the
switch and it will return to AUTO ô (the switch must be
in the AUTO position while operating the machine).
NOTE: With the switch in the AUTO position, if the
engine stalls, the supplemental steering system will
provide steering control.
Move the switch to UNLOCK í. The indicator
will come on to indicate the differential is
unlocked and the speed of the wheels can be
different. Move the switch to LOCK ÷ and the
differential will be locked. When the tandem
wheels on one side of the machine spin, the
tanaem wheels on the other side, if they are on a
firmer surface, can move the machine.
