1. Observe the oil level with the engine running, all
equipment lowered and the oil warm.
Batteries give off flammable fumes
that can explode. Do not smoke
when observing electrolyte level.
Electrolyte is an acid and can cause
personal injury if it contacts skin or
eyes.
2. Maintain the oil between the ADD and FULL marks
on the sight gauge.
(16) Upper Articulation Pivot
Clean top of batteries. Remove filler caps and observe
electrolyte level. Maintain electrolyte level to bottom of
filler openings. Install filler caps.
At the proper charge rate, the batteries will not require
more than 30cc (1 ounce) of water per cell per week.
Lubricate 1 fitting.
