Install new preformed packing (3) and connector (2).

Install hose assembly (4) on valve port on top-right of
steering valve (1).

12.
Start engine (TM 5-3805-261-10).
13.
Turn steering wheel to the right while moving machine slowly forward a few feet.
14.
Turn steering wheel to the left while moving machine slowly forward a few feet.
15.
Repeat steps 13 and 14 at least five times to bleed air from system.
16.
Stop engine.
17.
Check for leaks.
18.
Refill hydraulic tank to proper level (WP 0216 00).
