Discard cotter pin (1).WARNINGWeight of bumper is approximately100 lbs. Use adequate hoist and slingfor lifting. Failure to follow thisprocedure may cause INJURY. If youare injured, seek medical aidimmediately.2.Install 3/8 inch-16NC eyebolts into topcenter hole in bumper (8, Figure 13-72).3.Attach hoist and sling and take up slack.4.Remove four bolts (4) and washers (5,Figure 13-73).5.Remove four bolts (6) and washers(7).6.Remove bumper (8) by sliding out from rearframe.7.Remove hoist and sling.CLEANINGClean all parts.
