Radiator Servicing. (Sheet 4 of 4)
CLEANING
Clean all parts. Refer to Chapter 2.
INSPECTION
Inspect all parts. Refer to Chapter 2.
FILLING
1.
Fill radiator with 50 percent water and 50
percent anti-freeze. Capacity is 10 gallons.
2.
Install radiator cap (1, Figure 6-120).
3.
Operate engine for 15 minutes and check
drain cock (2, Figure 6-121), plug (3, Figure
6-122) and plugs (4 and 5, Figure 6-123) for
leaks.
4.
Remove radiator cap (1, Figure 6-120)
slowly.
5.
Check coolant level.
6.
Install radiator cap (1).
