Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure that any lifting equipment used is in good condition
and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported by lifting equipment.
Failure to follow this warning may result in death or injury to personnel.

Weight of service brake assembly is 490 lb (222 kg).
1. Install new O-ring (Figure 4, Item 6) on service brake assembly (Figure 4, Item 5).
2. Use two link brackets (Figure 4, Item 1), link bracket (Figure 4, Item 2), and lifting device to install service brake
(Figure 4, Item 5) on vehicle.

Use caution when using adhesives and sealants. Prolonged inhalation of vapors can
cause lung irritation. Contact with skin can cause dermatitis. Wear gloves and safety
goggles and use product in a well-ventilated area away from open flame. If ingested, keep
individual calm and seek medical attention. DO NOT induce vomiting. If contact with skin
or eyes is made, flush thoroughly with water. Dispose of cleanup rags IAW local policy and
ordinances. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury to personnel.
3. Apply sealing compound to 16 bolts (Figure 4, Item 4).
4. Install 16 washers (Figure 4, Item 3) and bolts (Figure 4, Item 4) on service brake (Figure 4, Item 5). Torque
bolts to 199 30 lb-ft. (270 40 Nm) in pattern shown (Figure 5).
