Always inspect the harness connectorsthat are involved in the circuit.
Poor connections can often be the cause of a problem in an electrical
circuit. Verify that all connections in the circuit are clean and secure,
and that all connections are in good condition. If a problem with a
connection is found, correct the problem and verify that this diagnostic
code is active before performing this procedure.
Perform open or short circuit test ateach harness connection to identify
correct harness to replace.
Perform this test only if condition is active.
1. Connect MSD (WP 0006). Select
Engine ECM C6.6 120M and
verify WP 0337-11 is active.
2. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
3. Disconnect the following:
a. Harness connector EA-C7
(WP 0009, Figure 24) from
intake manifold pressure
sensor.
b. Harness connector EA-C6
(WP 0009, Figure 25) from
fuel rail pressure sensor.
c.
Harness connector EA-C5
(WP 0009, Figure 19) from oil
pressure sensor.
d. Harness connector FE-C6
(WP 0009, Figure 26) from
the turbocharger air inlet
pressure sensor.
4. Disconnect the Engine ECM har-
ness connector EA-C1 (WP 0009,
Figure 3) from the Engine ECM
J2.
5. Using a digital multimeter, test for
