ALTERNATOR AND MOUNTINGS MAINTENANCE - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
1.
Loosen bolts (1, 4, and 6).
2.
Move alternator (8) to release tension on two fan belts (3).
3.
Remove two fan belts (3).
4.
Remove bolt (6) and two washers (5).
5.
Support alternator (8) and remove bolt (1), washer (2), and nut (7).

NOTE
Tag wires before disconnecting to aid in installation.
6.
Disconnect three wires (9) from alternator (8).
7.
Remove alternator (8).
